The game engine uses a four-by-four board with a specific constraint: all nonzero four-bit row words must be distinct. This defines a finite legal-board support. The board is drawn uniformly from this support, not from all unconstrained boards.

- Stopping Rules: A mine ends the round with zero gross. Manual bank is available after at least one safe reveal. If no eligible cell remains, the quote is automatically banked.
- Controls: Stake and mine count are locked during the round. Manual refill is idle-only. Sound remains available.
Cells with zero conditional safe probability are disabled. Cells whose safe quote would exceed 1000 times the stake are also disabled. No refill occurs during an active round.
Wallet and Persistence Rules
The initial integer wallet is 1,000 virtual coins. When idle with an integer balance below 10, manual refill sets that integer balance to 1,000 while retaining fractional carry. Settlement adds the saved carry to the gross return, credits the whole-number portion and stores the remainder. Balance and carry persist in this browser, including a zero balance.
